Short version: use it for public posts, respect the people who made them, and understand that it is provided as-is.

What this service is

Reels Downloader takes a link to a public Instagram Reel or post, reads the media that post contains, and passes it to you. It is a convenience layer over publicly accessible content. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms or Instagram in any way.

Acceptable use

By using this site you agree not to:

  • try to access private, follower-only, age-restricted, or otherwise non-public content;
  • use automated scripts to submit lookups in bulk, or work around rate limits;
  • use the download proxy as a general-purpose proxy for unrelated traffic;
  • generate artificial ad impressions or clicks, or otherwise interfere with the ads shown on the site;
  • redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit someone else's media without permission;
  • use the service for anything unlawful where you are.

Lookups are rate limited per network address. Sustained abuse may be blocked without notice.

Copyright

Every Reel, video, and photo you download through this site belongs to whoever created it. Nothing here transfers any right to you. Saving a public Reel to watch offline is generally accepted personal use; reposting it as your own, or using it to promote something, generally is not.

You are responsible for what you do with a file once you have it, and for knowing the copyright rules where you live.

Copyright complaints

Reels Downloader does not host the media it lists; files are streamed from Instagram on request. If you hold rights in content and want to report a specific public post, use the Contact page and include:

  • the exact URL of the Instagram post;
  • a description of the work you own or represent;
  • your name, your relationship to the work, and a way to reach you.

We review every complete report and reply by email.

Advertising and third-party sites

The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense and its partners. We do not choose individual ads, and an ad appearing here is not an endorsement of the advertiser. Ads and other links may take you to third-party websites, which have their own terms and privacy policies. How advertising and analytics cookies are used is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Age

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Reels Downloader.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. It depends on undocumented behaviour of Instagram's website, which can change at any time; when it does, lookups fail until the service is updated.

To the maximum extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including lost data, lost time, or anything you do with a downloaded file.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date at the top of the page will reflect it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.
